El Lorquino was born with a clear idea: to offer Lorca and its surrounding area a media outlet that is close, independent, and committed to local reality. What began as a small project driven by a passion for journalism and love for our city has become a digital news reference point in the Region of Murcia.
Since our beginnings, we have believed that local information is essential for building community. In times when global news takes up almost all the space, we choose to look inward—to listen to our neighbors, walk our streets, and tell the stories that others overlook. We care about everyday life, the culture created from the ground up, the changes that begin in the neighborhoods, and the people who keep Lorca alive.
